Enjoy a pre-walk kickoff, a short and easy walk to reflect on your Kindness Action Plan moving forward, and a celebration after with food trucks.
We look forward to walking in unity during the SevenDays® Kindness Walk at the National World War I Museum and Memorial on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Our goal is… coming together, celebrating the ripples of kindness we achieve as a community. We encourage you to stay for the celebratory atmosphere of connected community with music and food!
Participation from all religious/non-religious beliefs, races and cultures is encouraged & all ages are welcome. Children five and under walk free; but registration is required for each person participating in the walk.

T-Shirt & Mask Delivery: This year all walk packets will be delivered to your home with your early registration.
Please wear your SevenDays® T-shirt to the Walk.
Pre-Walk: Same day registration and packet pick-up will also be available on the Southwest Lawn of the National World War I Museum and Memorial (just off the mall) beginning at 4:00 pm on April 24. The Pre-Walk ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. Make plans to join us for dinner following the Walk! *Note- masks and t-shirts are not guaranteed if you choose same day registration. We do not carry a large surplus of shirts and masks.
Walk: The Walk will commence at 5:00 pm on the Southwest Lawn near the Pre-Walk sound stage. Enjoy a variety of foods available for purchase just past the finish line upon completion of the approximately 1.5 mile route [site map here]. This is a family event and parents or guardians are expected to be with children under the age of 12. Strollers are welcome. Participants with service animals are also encouraged to participate (only service animals will be allowed, however).
Parking: Lawn, street and lot parking will be available at the National World War I Museum and Memorial. Alternatives include: Crown Center, Union Station, or along the streetcar route (which stops at Union Station). Please note there may be an additional charge to park in garages.
Security: Help ensure a safe and enjoyable event by being aware of your surroundings. Promptly alert staff or security/police if you notice anything that seems unusual or suspicious. Keep this simple guide phrase in mind: “See something, say something.”
Prohibited Items: Alcohol, Animals/pets (service animals excepted), balloons, bicycles, skateboards, Segways, wheelies or roller blades, clothing deemed obscene or indecent, costumes that cover the face, folding chairs, camp chairs, and tables of any kind, confetti, glitter or streamers, backpacks, coolers of any kind, suitcases and rolling bags, drones of any kind, fireworks or sparklers, flammable liquids, toxic chemicals, and explosives, illegal drugs, weapons including but not limited to firearms & knives. Exceptions to the listed items will be at the discretion of the Security staff and may include items for medical, infant, child or immediate care. This is a private event. The event does not provide a “check” facility, so attendees are urged not to bring restricted items. All attendees are subject to search by security. You will be responsible for your own belongings at all times.
