Courtney Boyle Smith has dedicated herself to creating meaningful opportunities for families to serve together and make a positive impact in their communities.
Courtney is the President and Co-founder of KindCraft, a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 that empowers families to engage in monthly service projects. Passionate about fostering kindness and empathy in children, Courtney has dedicated herself to creating meaningful opportunities for families to serve together and make a positive impact in their communities.
Originally from Massachusetts, Courtney now resides in Olathe, Kansas, with her husband, Matt, their two sons, Tyler (17) and Brady (15), and their three dogs, Duncan, Dexter, and Dennis. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph College in Connecticut and went on to complete a Master’s Degree at Avila University.
Before dedicating herself to KindCraft, Courtney was an elementary school teacher, with experience teaching both fifth grade in the Blue Valley School District and fourth grade in West Hartford, Connecticut. While her career has evolved, she still cherishes the opportunity to connect with young minds through her work with KindCraft, instilling in them the same passion for service and empathy that drives her own work.
