Michael V. Meyer is a nonprofit executive and U.S. Army Vietnam combat veteran with more than 27 years of experience leading national humanitarian and veterans’ organizations.
He has developed and managed large-scale military support programs, providing tens of millions of dollars in cash and in-kind assistance for wounded service members and their families. As Executive Director of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation and later in senior leadership roles, he built strategic partnerships with major corporations, the Department of Defense, and national nonprofits. He currently serves as Director of Development for the Command and General Staff College Foundation at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. His work has earned multiple national awards recognizing his leadership and humanitarian impact.
