David Kennedy is the Vice President of Mission and Ministry for AdventHealth’s Mid-America Region. In this role, he helps drive mission alignment and executive leadership development for AdventHealth’s hospitals and clinics in Kansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
Dave also oversees teams that provide spiritual care, community benefit, global outreach, and other mission-related services. He spent 24 years in pastoral leadership in the Denver area, where he had the honor of partnering with organizations like World Vision, World Relief, International Justice Mission, and AdventHealth to bring community transformation and leadership development to countries like Rwanda, Peru, Nepal, and Kenya. He earned his doctorate in executive leadership in 2021 through Denver Seminary.
Dave enjoys distance running and has participated in numerous marathons, including New York City, Chicago, and London Marathons. He also enjoys mountain trekking in the Rockies, the Himalayas, and the Peruvian Andes.
He has been married to Kim for 35 years. Together, they have 2 adult sons and 2 wonderful daughters-in-law. They enjoy international travel, facilitating community, nightly walks, and dining out.
